How To Use the Wiki


Editing text on a page
  • Click the edit button at the top of the page. You will be kicked into editor mode and you can start typing.
  • Use the simple editor toolbar to format all your text with bold, underlining, color, headings and more.
  • Once you are done editing, click Save.

Adding links to another website
  • Copy the address to the other site in another tab or window
  • Click the Link button in the editor bar
  • Choose External Link and paste the link in the address bar
  • Type what text you want the link to appear as in Link Text
  • Once you are done, click Add Link

Adding link to another page on the wikispace
  • Click the Link button in the editor bar
  • Choose Wiki Link
  • Choose the Page Name you would like to select
  • If it doesn't already exist, you can add it here
  • Type the Link Text you would like it to display
  • Once you are done, click Add Link

Adding images and files
  • Put the cursor where you wish to put the image or file
  • Click the File button in the editor bar
  • Click Upload Files to browse your computer for the image or file you want. Select the file and click Ok to upload it.
  • Once uploaded, you can choose them from the list
  • Click on the image or file to place it on the page
  • Click on the image to get the File Properties popup, and adjust the size and alignment of the image, or add a caption or make the image a link

Adding videos, calendars or other widgets
  • Click the Widget button in the editor bar
  • Click Other
  • In a separate tab or window, open the media you want to embed. Look for something that says "Embed" (or maybe "Share"), followed by a piece of code. Copy this code
  • Go back to the wikispace and paste the copied code into the field in the widget tool
  • Click on the embedded widget (in editor mode it will be a blue square) to get the Widget Properties popup, and adjust the widgets alignment and size
